Cheshire Schools Fencing Association is a small private organization, whose objective is to provide Fencing competitions for beginner and intermediate young fencers.

We started in 1974 and have run competitions without a break since then. Currently we run four competitions during the year, three Foil and one Epee and Sabre.

Originally the Association was set up for youngsters in Cheshire, but over the years we have opened it up so we now include north west England and north Wales. The competitions are for ages 8 to 16 years with age groups under 10,12,14 and 16 for Foil competitions and under 13,15 and 17 for the Sabre and Epee competitions. These competitions are excellent experience for beginner and intermediate fencers, however we do insist on full protective clothing and membership of British/Welsh for safety reasons. All competitions are run with electric equipment and competitors must provide their own equipment.
